This post brings a guide for beginners to the game "Under the Cloud Sea," a healing and placement RPG mobile game that combines elements of fantasy and adventure. It adopts a Ghibli style, presenting beasts in a "ugly-cute" contrast to players. The visuals are fresh and natural, with great attention to detail, making it very appealing and beloved by players. However, new players often encounter various issues. Hopefully, the following beginner's guide will help everyone get started quickly.

I. Class Selection
For new players, class selection is also a very important part. Currently, there are 8 classes to choose from in the game. If you are not familiar with the class situations, you may feel quite lost when facing the choice. The current 8 major classes are Knight, Assassin, Warrior, Archer, Wizard, Mage, Scholar, and Priest.

Each class has its own unique characteristics. The Assassin is a front-line DPS class, with a significant advantage in attack speed, capable of frequently interrupting enemies and having strong burst damage, posing a considerable threat to squishy targets. The Archer is a back-row DPS, capable of dealing area-of-effect (AoE) damage, with strong output. When necessary, they can even summon an eagle to join the battle. The Mage is also a back-row DPS, skilled in using various dark magic and curses to inflict negative buffs on enemies, effectively disrupting their actions and causing continuous damage;

The Wizard is also adept at back-row DPS, specializing in using the power of various natural elements. Not only do they deal significant damage, but they also have some control effects, providing a certain level of control over the battlefield. Tanks and Knights are typically placed in the front line, both possessing excellent damage absorption capabilities, with sturdy shields providing high defense and damage reduction effects;
Compared to tanks and knights, Warriors, although also positioned in the front line, have higher health points, the ability to self-heal, and some combat power, making them a more balanced class. Scholars are healers, able to use spells to heal allies, providing sustained healing and increasing survivability. Priests mainly focus on back-row healing, also acting as healers, but they also have the ability to shield, which can absorb damage.

II. Early Game Lineup
Big spenders have a variety of lineup options, so we won't focus on those here. We will mainly recommend relatively practical lineups for casual and low-spending players during the early stages. These lineups are relatively low in cost but have high fault tolerance. The first set: Knight + Priest + Mage + Archer. This combination is well-balanced, with both offensive and defensive capabilities, and has low resource requirements. In battle, start with the Knight, gathering and taunting monsters, while the Mage uses AoE skills to clear out small enemies. The Archer is suitable for long-range finishing blows, and the Priest can stabilize the front line's HP, making it a steady and conservative lineup.

The second set is a burst damage lineup, consisting of Warrior + Wizard + Assassin + Scholar, suitable for quickly killing bosses. The Scholar provides a damage-boosting field buff, while the Wizard focuses on stacking DoT (damage over time). The Assassin flanks to quickly eliminate enemies. The only drawback of this lineup is that it requires precise positioning.
Finally, we recommend a versatile lineup suitable for later stages: Knight + Priest + Mage + Scholar. The damage boost provided can significantly enhance the Mage's output, making it effective in high-difficulty dungeons.

III. Resource Management
The most important thing when you first enter the game is to progress through the stages. By completing the main story, you can quickly level up and obtain many resources and materials for character development. During the stages, you will receive chests. Do not use these chests immediately; in this game, equipment levels are multiples of 5. After opening the chest, check the gear your characters are currently wearing. If it is already the highest available, there's no need to upgrade via the chest, and you can save it for the next stage.
In the early stages, prioritize resources for tanks and healers, followed by the main and secondary DPS. This ensures initial survival. Upgrade the main DPS's weapon first, then the tank's armor. Use stamina early on to farm experience and breakthrough materials, and focus on weapon dungeons in the mid to late game.

This concludes our guide for "Under the Cloud Sea." During the beginner phase, the key points to focus on have been detailed above. If you handle these aspects well, you will develop rapidly during the early stages and establish a solid foundation from the start.
