Want to team up in Goose Goose Duck? First, you need to understand how to set up a duo. The game supports duo team matching, but the game mechanism requires at least 5 people in the room to start. Duo players can team up by inviting friends or using room codes, and after joining a multiplayer match, they can collaborate or argue. In-game duo interactions mainly rely on voice communication and strategic cooperation, but it's also important to pay attention to the different win conditions of each faction.

Duo players need to add each other as friends first. On the main interface of the game, click on the friend list, enter the other person's ID to send an invitation, and once accepted, you can invite them to the same room. When creating a room, choose "Private Game," generate a room code to share with your teammate (as shown in the image below), or directly invite through the friend list. Note that public rooms may be joined by random players, while private rooms are accessible only by code or friend invitations. If there are not enough people, the system will automatically match other players to fill up to more than 5 before starting.

If both players are in the goose faction, it is recommended to divide tasks: one focuses on completing missions to advance progress, while the other observes the behavior of other players and reports points. For example, the Canadian Goose can actively attract the killer's attention, allowing the teammate to take the opportunity to report, and the Engineer and Detective combination can use their skills to verify each other's identities. If both are in the duck faction, coordinate the timing of attacking others, use sabotage missions to create chaos, or pretend to be good players and corroborate for each other. When the two are in opposing factions (such as goose and duck) or one is a neutral role, avoid open interaction. Duck players can pretend to be unfamiliar with their teammates, vote for the other during meetings to clear suspicion, and neutral roles like Dodo can deliberately lead their teammates to suspect themselves, aiming to be voted out and win.

The in-game voice system is key for duo coordination. The goose faction can share information about suspicious players through private chat, while the duck faction needs to communicate discreetly to avoid being overheard. It's advisable to pre-arrange signals, such as meeting at specific task points or alerting in emergencies. Be aware that speaking in the public channel may reveal your identity, especially for neutral roles who need to play it cool and be ambiguous to mislead others.

Duo gameplay in Goose Goose Duck tests teamwork and acting skills. Whether cooperating or competing, making reasonable use of character abilities, map mechanics, and in-car voice communication can increase the chances of winning. Beginners are advised to start with same-faction cooperation, gradually accumulating experience, and then trying more complex matches.
