Before officially stepping into Jiangdong, it's recommended that players first go to the barracks north of Xiangyang for grinding, ensuring the main character or teammates have at least 15 strength. This allows them to pull out the sword from the Sword Tomb, which requires 15 strength, adding a boost for venturing into Jiangdong. Allocate attribute points based on the chosen weapon type; if you feel the main character's survivability is low, regardless of the weapon used, it's suggested to raise the strength to at least 17, then use an item that increases strength by 1, so as to equip the Mingguang Armor worth 5500 coins, which requires 18 strength to wear. This piece of equipment has excellent attributes and significantly improves the character's survivability in the Jiangdong region.

After entering Jiangdong, arrive at Zhenjiang Ferry and converse with the surrounding NPCs to learn about the black-clad men plotting to open a gold mine at Taihu Gang. However, since the player's strength is still weak at this point, it's best to set this matter aside for now and head straight to Jiaxing to trigger the main storyline. This part of the plot is relatively easy, and during battles, make sure the Six Siblings don't kill the minions, allowing the main character or teammates to finish them off to gain experience. Otherwise, uneven experience distribution might increase the difficulty of subsequent battles. After winning the battle, three options will appear: choosing "indifference" yields no rewards; choosing "justice" increases morality by 1, and later, when encountering the Jiangnan Phantom Hand, he will give a book called "Empty Skillful Hands"; choosing "mechanism" increases perception by 1. There's a character on the second floor of the Drunken Immortal Building in Jiaxing who can initiate a 1v1 manly duel. Upon first arriving in Jiangdong, the player most likely won't be able to win, so it's better to skip this and return after becoming stronger, such as after completing the Qu Village, to challenge again. After defeating him, you can purchase some decent weapons. Thoroughly search Jiaxing City, then head to the nearby Duke Wang Temple. First, collect supplies around the perimeter, and upon entering the temple, you'll find a cellar behind the Buddha statue containing a robe that increases thievery skills, which has decent attributes and is recommended to be worn.

Once weapons and armor are prepared, you can start challenging the various sects in the Jiangdong region. The order of challenges can be freely arranged according to your situation, but Luoxia Manor, due to its use of acupoint sealing skills, can easily control the player's character, so it's suggested to leave it for later. When challenging Luoxia Manor, remember to collect the Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion on the left side of the hall, which can be pawned for 4000 coins. On the right, there is a red chest that requires 90 thievery skills to open; players can come back to open it after recruiting the Jiangnan Phantom Hand through the plot. At Fufeng Manor, you can find a good knife in the box behind the house. After completing the sect challenges, go to Qu Village to find Li Dalu. Challenging Li Dalu alone at this point is not very difficult. After defeating him, the player can choose a reward accessory: the White Horse increases HP by 100, critical hit rate by 5%, and lightness kung fu by 60; the Black Horse has the same other attributes as the White Horse, just replacing the critical hit with combo rate +5%; the Ugly Horse increases morality by 1 and scene movement speed by 1, but the Ugly Horse is not recommended.
