In the game world of Rainbow Island, the Ranger is presented as a unique class to players. They possess extremely high flexibility and excellent evasion abilities, seemingly able to weave freely through the gaps in enemy attacks. How good the Ranger class is in Rainbow Orange actually depends on the specialization after the initial stage. However, for players who enjoy fast movement and long-range attacks, the Ranger is a very suitable choice in the early stages.

The Ranger class does not have the powerful attack power like the Warrior, nor the heavy defense like the Shield Guardian, and it certainly does not have the formidable magic that makes mages so awe-inspiring. However, what Rangers uniquely possess is a high luck value that no other class has. When a Ranger reaches the first job change, they face two distinctive paths to choose from. One of these, the Marksman, specializes in the use of bows and crossbows, with an attack range that is the longest among all classes on Rainbow Island. Just like a sniper hiding in the shadows, the Marksman can deliver lethal long-range strikes before the enemy even notices.
However, the Marksman's attack power ranks third among all classes, just behind the General and Dual Swords, and its efficiency in defeating monsters is relatively low, with a slower attack speed and a smaller attack range vertically. Fortunately, the character can easily dodge some of the enemy's attacks by jumping. Despite this, the Marksman still holds a place in battles due to its high attack power and extremely long attack range. The other first job change direction, the Dual Pistols, is a widely used class in the game world.

While the Dual Pistols' attack is not particularly outstanding, their combo ability is very high, making it easy to achieve 99-hit combos, which also come with experience and money rewards. This is undoubtedly a great help for character growth and resource accumulation. With the second-longest attack range among all classes, the Dual Pistols can continuously deal high damage from a safe distance. Whether facing a single strong monster or a horde of small ones, the Dual Pistols can show impressive combat strength.
What's more, the Dual Pistols have a clear advantage in PvP battles, as their skill range can cover multiple enemies at once. A skilled Dual Pistol player can even take on three opponents alone, making them one of the advantageous classes in chaotic battles. For this reason, the Dual Pistols are an excellent choice for grinding and leading teams. Of course, the weaknesses of the Dual Pistols are also evident, with relatively lower health, often putting them at a disadvantage in close combat. Once an enemy breaks through the defense and gets up close, classes like the General and Dual Swords can quickly defeat them.

As the game progresses, when the Ranger reaches the second job change, two more distinct paths emerge: the Soul Hunter and the Arbiter. Regardless of whether the player is a free-to-play (F2P) or a big spender, from a later development perspective, the Hunter is undoubtedly the preferred class. Hunters not only have excellent AFK (away from keyboard) capabilities, allowing them to continuously gain resources and experience even when the player is offline, but they also perform quite steadily in PvP, maintaining a certain level of competitiveness. Under equal equipment and skill levels, the Arbiter's pure PvP ability is slightly better.
If equipped with high-quality gear, the Arbiter becomes even more formidable on the PvP battlefield, and they can also show great strength while grinding. However, for F2P players, since the Arbiter relies to some extent on spending real money to enhance their power, without sufficient investment, it may be difficult to fully realize their potential. In this case, the Soul Hunter becomes a good alternative. It is recommended for Soul Hunters to use daggers or crossbows, avoiding bows, to better leverage their class advantages.

When the Ranger reaches the third job change, a new chapter of the class opens, with the Wind Assassin and the Mystic Archer becoming the available options. The Mystic Archer inherits the high attack power characteristic of the archer class, with both base attack and range being excellent. By focusing on increasing evasion and critical hit rate in the later stages, the survival and burst damage of the Mystic Archer can be effectively enhanced. On the other hand, the Wind Assassin mainly relies on close-range rapid shooting to increase damage, and also has some skill cooldown effects, allowing them to quickly deal high damage in close combat. There is not much difference in strength between the Wind Assassin and the Mystic Archer, with both having high-level burst damage.
Now you know how the Ranger class is in Rainbow Orange. After choosing a basic path in the early stages, the subsequent gameplay will depend on the specialization direction. The career path that generally best fits personal preferences is usually determined by individual playstyle and actual experience in the later stages of the game.
