As a typical action secondary game, before entering combat, players need to arrange 3 characters to form a team. Therefore, how to form a team becomes a concern for players. Below, we will provide recommendations for the standard team composition of Black Beacon, looking at how to form a Black Beacon lineup and what the underlying logic is. The roles here can be divided into Existence, Destruction, and Balance, corresponding to support, main DPS, and auxiliary. Additionally, there are five elements: light, dark, water, fire, and lightning. Light and dark deal extra damage, water freezes, fire deals DoT, and lightning causes electrocution and follow-up damage. It's ideal to form a pure elemental team, but more often, it's about building around the main DPS and the synergy between different character mechanics. Here are some examples.

Platinum Kite + Zero + Ming:
A 1 main DPS plus 2 support lineup, Platinum Kite is a character that many people have encountered, capable of both offense and defense. The normal attack has 3 stages, and after the third stage, it enters the "Dominion" state. Holding down the normal attack triggers a heavy hit. After a perfect dodge, the normal attack can also throw a spinning greatsword at the enemy, causing continuous damage and knockback. The passive skill is quite special, revolving around the "Dominion" state. Some skills can trigger this buff, and using certain skills with this buff can add derivative attacks, gaining invincibility at the moment the state is activated.

Skill 1 throws a greatsword, and if timed correctly, it can add a two-hit slash and a piercing attack. Skill 2 is a spinning jump followed by a downward slash, which has higher multipliers and a larger range in an enhanced state. The ultimate skill performs three high-damage slashes based on the number of stacks. From the skill characteristics, it's not hard to see that Platinum Kite is a damage-dealing role and requires a certain rhythm, not the type of main DPS that you can just spam buttons with.

After determining the main DPS, the remaining are the support and auxiliary choices. This setup uses dual supports. "Zero's" skills offer team-wide damage reduction and attack boosts, providing significant benefits to the team. Then there's "Ming," whose skills and passives can connect enemies, not only improving her own mobility but also allowing connected enemies to take damage simultaneously. Her ultimate skill is a wide-area connection. Connections can pull enemies closer, and at 4th ascension, it reduces enemy fire resistance, essentially gathering enemies and reducing their fire resistance, which is very suitable for the fire-based main DPS, "Platinum Kite."

Qing + Rosace + Any:
Qing is currently in a class of her own, with top-tier handling, damage, and attack range. She has a 4-stage normal attack, Skill 1 is a swift blade that allows for movement and attack, hitting activates Swift Blade. Skill 2 is a circular area attack that, when hit, activates "Calm Wave," and the passive is that these two states, when hit, make the next normal attack a Wave Slash, dealing ranged linear damage with invincibility. Rosace is one of the few SSR healers, with small skills accumulating notes, and a passive that provides attack bonuses and coordinated attacks based on the number of notes. Her ultimate skill provides damage buffs, and at 2nd ascension, it reduces damage resistance. Both Qing and Rosace are water-attribute, making her a dedicated support for Qing.

Ireshan + Rosace + Shamash:
Ireshan is also a very good main DPS. Skill 1 throws a scythe that continuously rotates and attacks enemies, stopping when it hits the first enemy but still dealing continuous damage. With the passive, Skill 1 can be used again to instantly move to the scythe's location. Skill 2 is an area-of-effect attack with an instant strike. The ultimate skill gathers enemies and instantly moves to the target with the most HP, gaining a vulnerability buff on that target. Successfully killing the vulnerable target can transfer the debuff to another nearby target. Shamash serves as a sub-DPS here, primarily attacking by stacking rage, and once full, gaining skill enhancements. This way, during the downtime of one character's output, the other can fill in.

The above is an introduction to the team composition for Black Beacon. Currently, compared to forming teams with the same element, it's more about forming teams based on roles. One main DPS is necessary, and the other two can be utility characters. In the early stages of the game, resource acquisition is limited, and there is no character reset function, so it's important to decide which character to develop and then focus resources on that character, typically the main DPS. For example, Platinum Kite or Qing, or if you haven't drawn an SSR main DPS, Shamash can also be used. Borrowing a friend's main DPS from the assist system can help reduce the cost of development.
