The Sword and Fairy world is an open-world game with some MMORPG elements. Although it's mostly a solo experience, joining at the start of the server can greatly enhance your subsequent experience. So, what are the must-dos on the first day in the Sword and Fairy world? Here’s a general guide. Since this is largely based on personal experience, it may not apply to everyone, so take it as a reference.

Quick Leveling:
In this type of game, level is very important. Some features and rewards only become available once you reach certain levels. The level here refers to the player account level, which is tied to the character level. After entering the game, quickly advance through the story until you reach Lin Family Castle, where you can get Li Xiaoyao, Lin Yueru, and Li Yiru. With these characters, team formation becomes easier. Continue following the main storyline, activate teleportation points in various regions, complete side quests, and fight in ruins to level up to 35, which is a crucial milestone.
Don't rush into Abyss, weapons, or Sword Spirits; they not only consume a lot of time but also don’t offer full rewards in the early stages. Clear out humanoid monsters like thieves along the way, and mark key thief nests for later. Other types of monsters, such as grass and ghost types, can be fought opportunistically.

Humanoid monsters drop materials needed for leveling, which are in high demand during the early stages, especially for upgrading skills and weapons for Xiaoyao and Ling’er. Materials from grass and ghost types will be useful later, so there's no need to farm them specifically during the initial phase. Stamina usually overflows during the early stage, so it's a waste if not used. Therefore, you can constantly grind maps, commonly known as "farming the land."

In-Game Purchases:
The Sword and Fairy world has few in-game purchases, and free-to-play or low-spending players can still enjoy the game. If you plan to play long-term, buying a battle pass and a monthly card on the first day is cost-effective. The monthly card costs 30 yuan, offering about 1100% return, while the battle pass provides many resources, stamina, and a few draws based on activity. With a monthly card and battle pass, plus some grinding, you can have a pleasant experience, provided you aren't too unlucky with character draws.

Team Composition:
Fast clearing requires not just assembling powerful characters but also understanding the combat system. The game features elemental attributes and Spirit Breaking mechanics. Players familiar with open-world games understand elemental attributes, while Spirit Breaking is similar to reducing enemy resilience, allowing for higher damage after breaking. For example, using the classic team of Xiaoyao + Yueru + Ling’er + Yiru: Xiaoyao focuses on output with the Shanhe set, Yueru as a secondary DPS with a focus on Spirit Breaking, Ling’er with her unique weapon, and Yiru as the healer, focusing on health for maximum healing.

The combat strategy is for Yueru to use her ultimate to break the spirit, followed by Ling’er applying buffs, then Xiaoyao using his skills and ultimate. Xiaoyao's skill mechanism increases the damage of his ultimate when he uses his skills first. After using the ultimate, continuous basic attacks reduce its cooldown. Normally, there's no need to switch to Yiru unless the health is low and needs healing.

This is a brief introduction to the must-dos on the first day in the Sword and Fairy world. The core gameplay is straightforward. On the first day, with the help of a monthly card and battle pass, focus on grinding. Prioritize following the main storyline, skipping dialogue if needed, and leveling up to at least 35 to unlock more features. Complete side quests and activate teleportation points along the way. There will be many events and phased rewards on the first day, so claim daily activity rewards. You can postpone map chests and exploration, as following player guides later will be more efficient and less likely to miss anything. Generally, the first day of grinding involves these tasks, and later, you can work on completing the collection.
