In the latest update of Lost Castle 2, the Musket class was added, or more precisely, musket-type weapons, and this update introduced over 30 different muskets. So how do you play as a musketeer in Lost Castle 2? Here, we will discuss the attack methods of the musketeer and the differences between the currently implemented muskets, highlighting their unique features to provide a reference for your gameplay.

The basic attack of muskets is relatively slow, and you can see the number of bullets via the energy bar below. After all bullets are fired, it will automatically reload, though players can also manually reload by pressing a button. The character will automatically reload one bullet during a dodge, allowing for sliding and shooting while reloading.

Here's a small tip: pressing the basic attack button right after a slide ends will trigger a flash attack, resulting in two quick consecutive attacks. Mastering this technique can significantly improve your output efficiency, as regular musket basic attacks are quite slow. Using this trick allows you to quickly perform a three-hit combo.

If no direction is input when dodging, the character will jump backward. You can still perform a basic attack and shoot during the retreat, and similarly, you can use the aforementioned flash attack technique.

The special attack is "Thermal Shot," which consumes all thermal energy after charging. However, you cannot perform another Thermal Shot immediately after using it; you need to continuously use basic attacks to replenish thermal energy. During a dodge shot, players can adjust the shooting direction using the left and right joysticks.

This is a simple introduction on how to play as a musketeer in Lost Castle 2. The basic attack methods for muskets in this game are limited to these few types. In addition to the basic musket, there are other types such as hand cannons, long-barreled muskets, sniper rifles, laser guns, short-barreled muskets, rapid-fire muskets, etc., all of which can use dodge shots and have additional attack characteristics.
