In the game, the glacier passage is the key to accessing the glacier region and also a test of the player's observational skills and puzzle-solving abilities. After entering the glacier passage, swim to the right first, reaching the first area where you face three switches. Press the switches in order from left to right, and the passage will open. Continue forward, and you will encounter a fish monster, an enemy type that players may have seen before. Stay calm and avoid the fish monster's patrol path to prevent being discovered. After passing through this area, players will see an ancient mural. Remember to take a photo as it might play an important role in subsequent missions. After taking the photo, continue swimming downstream.

Next comes a series of mechanism operations. At the first mechanism, press the switch to unlock the passage and continue forward. The second mechanism requires connecting the switch at the bottom right to the upper passage, then swim upwards. In the new path, quickly press the switch on the top right three times to proceed, testing the player's operational speed. Upon reaching the left ice wall, look for nearby lotus fruits, move the fruit in front of the ice wall, and use its properties to melt the ice wall and open the passage.

After entering the new area, players will encounter a block-pulling mechanism. Grab the block and pull it down until the upper door opens. When proceeding to the lower road, you will find it blocked by ice blocks. Use the lotus fruits again to melt the ice blocks. However, before finding new fruits, explore the left area and press the right-side switches sequentially to adjust the passage direction. After setting up the passage vertically, go up and press the switch again to open the door, then go down and flatten the passage, crossing over and pressing the right button. If fish monsters obstruct your way, hit the fruit to temporarily disable them using the brief flash effect.

Entering the left area, you can find a new lotus fruit, bring it back to the left glacier to melt it. After the glacier melts, a light device will appear inside. Place the lotus fruit into the device to activate a beam of light, but the direction cannot be adjusted yet. Return to the mermaid village and talk to Cobras, who will mention needing a crowbar to adjust the light direction. Go to the sunken ship area below the express boat, find the stone pestles at the glowing spots, and move all the stone pestles to the glowing empty ground on the right, triggering a crab attack. Kill the crabs with stones to retrieve the crowbar.

Return to the glacier passage with the crowbar, pry the stone on the right side of the mirror, adjust the light direction, and melt the ice surface to enter the next level. The puzzles in the new area are more complex, requiring precise adjustment of the mirror angles. First, move the bottom fruit to the left device to activate the light. Adjust the left mirror to direct the light to the right, then adjust the right mirror to direct the light upward. After melting the upper button, press the switch and continue forward.

The last part of the area requires a series of coordinated light and mirror operations. Place the fruit in the right device, adjust the right mirror to direct the light to the left, then pull the left mirror upward, and adjust the upper mirror to further direct the light to the left. Through this continuous operation, melt the ice blocks in the passage and flatten it to successfully open the passage.

Upon entering the new area, the environment gradually becomes dim, and players need to hit the fruit to illuminate the surroundings. You will find a huge Boss restrained by chains. There is no need to fight it; follow the current swiftly to the right, avoiding obstacles and preventing the Boss from catching up. Finally, hit the lotus fruit at the end to scare away the Boss using the flash, successfully completing the glacier passage and officially entering the glacier region.
