Today, I want to share where the ruby can be found in Subnautica Below Zero. In Subnautica Below Zero, rubies are an extremely rare and important resource. Whether used as mission items or for equipment upgrades and trading, they are an indispensable part of the player's deep-sea exploration. However, obtaining rubies often requires players to venture into dangerous waters and face challenges from complex terrain and powerful enemies.

The Glacier Zone is the preferred location for players to find rubies. This area is known for its extremely cold environment and rugged terrain. To the left of the glacier entrance, a weapon box usually spawns, which has a certain probability of dropping rubies. However, exploring the glacier zone is not easy; the complex terrain and ocean currents on the left side greatly increase the difficulty of player movement, especially when oxygen is limited, requiring careful path planning. More importantly, the resource respawn mechanism in the glacier zone has conditional restrictions. If only shells and oxygen replenishment points appear to the right of the glacier entrance, then the left side may not generate ruby ore, and players need to wait for resources to reset or choose other exploration routes.

The Thermal Vent Zone is another significant source of rubies. The characteristic of this area lies in its hot water currents and unique creatures. On the left side of the thermal vent zone, there is a chance to spawn a rare creature called the "Ruby Seadragon." The Ruby Seadragon is small in size with bright colors, typically hiding near thermal vent bubbles, easily overlooked if not paying attention. Capturing the Ruby Seadragon requires steady operation and keen observation skills. Once successfully captured, players will receive a ruby as a reward. However, the high-temperature environment of the thermal vent zone continuously depletes the durability of diving equipment. Before entering this area, it is recommended to carry sufficient repair tools or reinforced equipment to handle potential emergencies.

In addition to the glacier and thermal vent zones, certain special locations in the Abyssal Trench may also have traces of rubies, although the probability is low, it offers an extra opportunity for explorers. Near the upper-right corner of the Abyssal Trench story cave, close to the area where the Goliath Shark is active, players have a chance to find some rare ores, including rubies or cat's eye stones. However, the danger level in the Abyssal Trench is extremely high, and the Goliath Shark's attack power is enough to instantly defeat unprepared players.

During the process of finding rubies, making good use of the game's mechanisms and items is also crucial. For example, players can carry sonar devices to quickly scan the surrounding terrain and determine the location of ore deposits; simultaneously, upgrading oxygen tanks and diving suits can significantly increase action time in the deep sea, providing more security for exploration.
