How to defeat the Mystic Turtle in Ghost Valley of Eight Desolations? The Mystic Turtle is a BOSS that can be collected for its Mystic Turtle Essence, and defeating it will yield important resources for breaking through to the Divine Soul stage. Therefore, this BOSS must be defeated. However, many players report that it has a lot of health and are unsure how to quickly defeat it. Here’s a guide on how to beat it, which should help speed up your battle process.

The Mystic Turtle has 6 skills and is divided into two different phases. In the Gatekeeper phase, it only uses three skills: Roar, Tail Strike, and Ground Slam. These three skills are released in a repeating cycle. These moves are relatively easy to dodge. The Roar requires a brief charge-up and causes phased damage to enemies in front of it. The red circle indicates the skill's damage range; the farther away from the red circle, the lower the damage, and it is actually completely avoidable.

The second skill, Tail Strike, is easier to hit if you're behind the BOSS. This is a fixed skill that releases attacks quickly once you enter its range. The third skill, Ground Slam, is a ranged attack skill that is difficult to dodge. However, you can add a shield to reduce damage. The base attack multiplier increases as you get closer to the BOSS, meaning the closer you are, the more likely you are to be killed instantly. So, it's best to engage in a war of attrition.

It is recommended to use Spirit Cultivation or Sword Cultivation. When it enters the second phase, it triggers the Falling Rocks skill with invincibility. During Falling Rocks, there will be random red circles on the ground indicating where rocks will fall. The lower its health, the more frequent the falling rocks. You can dodge them using Aura Shield.

When its health drops to 20%, it enters an invincible state with 100% damage reduction. At this point, stop attacking and wait for 5 seconds. It will then enter a weakened state, allowing you to quickly defeat it.

The strategy for defeating the Mystic Turtle in Ghost Valley of Eight Desolations has been shared. After understanding the BOSS's attack patterns, you might find it less challenging. By mastering its offensive patterns, you can develop corresponding strategies, making combat much easier.
